Shortlisting process where Queensland Rail verifies employment eligibility of applicants. |
| Step 3: |
Shortlisted applicants undertake a pre-traineeship testing program. |
| Step 4 |
Candidates will be interviewed at the location marked on their apprenticeship application. Candidates are responsible for their own transport to and from interview. |
| Step 5: |
Candidates successful in meeting assessment and interview requirements will undergo medical assessment to determine whether they are fit to undertake genuine requirements of the traineeship role. |
| Step 6: |
Successful candidates notified and offered a traineeship with Queensland Rail. |
| Step 7: |
Trainee’s are invited to events leading up to the commencement of their apprenticeship (Uniform fittings, meet and greets) to welcome them to Queensland Rail. |
| Step 8: |
Trainee’s commence work with Queensland Rail with the corporate orientation program completed during the first week of employment. |
