RailSmart - Train Drivers' Plea
Railway level crossing safety is an important issue which affects our community. Poor decisions and reckless behaviour by some motorists are putting the lives of Queensland Rail train drivers, our passengers and the community at risk of serious injury, or worse.
Queensland Rail is committed to level crossing safety and is working on a number of engineering, enforcement, innovation and education initiatives, but we are appealing to the community and all road users to make safe decisions at level crossings, and obey the road rules.
Queensland Rail and ARG train drivers have come together to put their plea on rail safety to the community through these Community Service Announcements.
