This is an exciting time for Queensland Rail Travel, and an exciting time for our industry partners throughout the state. Queensland has some of the most exciting holiday destinations in the world, from the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef to the majesty of the outback and our beautiful clean beaches, friendly cities and lush rainforests in between.
After the trials of severe weather over summer 2010/11, now we are back to doing what we do best, joining together Queensland's unique holiday experiences. We have introduced a third weekly return Tilt Train service between Brisbane and Cairns, and relaunched our second high speed diesel Tilt Train.
The relaunch has given us the opportunity to showcase our state's cultural heritage, with services now aboard two canvases of indigenous art.
Final design work is underway on a impressive new Tilt Train, and upgrades and additional carriages for our existing Cairns Tilt Trains.
