Queensland Rail operates a Repair Authorisation Centre for all servicing and repairs to its motor vehicles.
In general, manufacturer’s agents are the preferred option to undertake the servicing and repair of Queensland Rail motor vehicles. Where no manufacturer’s agents are available, or where specialist services are required, Queensland Rail will appoint alternative service providers.

- The supplier must have public liability and professional indemnity cover.
- The supplier is licensed for the type of work undertaken.
- The supplier has qualified, trained and experienced staff.
- Repair and service charges are in accordance with the manufacturer’s and, or, MTA guidelines.
