About the project
The $475 million Darra to Springfield Transport Corridor Stage 2 Richlands to Springfield Project is being delivered as an integrated road and rail project with the rail component scheduled for completion in late 2013, and the road component scheduled for completion in early 2014.
For the first time Springfield residents will have quality public transport choices, providing a new way of life for the local community.
The new infrastructure will help encourage business development and job creation. Around 3200 jobs are expected to be created over the life of the project.
The project is being delivered by TrackStar Alliance comprising Thiess, Aurecon, AECOM and Queensland Rail.
