The Beenleigh line runs south from Brisbane for 85.65 kilometres to Robina, the entrance to the Gold Coast. The City rail fleet can reach speeds of 140km/h along this line when travelling south of Beenleigh.
System maps divide Queensland Rail's network into four sections - North, South, South-East and Brisbane Metropolitan. Line diagrams detail distances, number of tracks, the type of infrastructure (eg. private sidings) and stations. In accordance with Queensland Rail's Access Undertaking the line diagrams are updated at intervals of no greater than six months.
