Cairns Tilt Train Announcement
Queensland Rail expects to introduce an extra Cairns Tilt Train service in early 2011, when our second diesel Tilt Train rejoins the fleet. This train was damaged in a level crossing collision in November 2008, and is currently being overhauled to provide the latest passenger comforts upon its re-introduction to service. We thank customers for their patience as we work to provide better services across the state.
