Community Alert: More train services restored to SEQ

11/03/2025

Our crews have been hard at work restoring additional parts of our network following Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

We're out inspecting and repairing 152 stations, 850km of track, and over 900km of high-voltage overhead lines and signalling.

While progress is being made, significant damage remains on parts of the network, particularly on the Gold Coast and Cleveland lines.

We are running a modified Sunday timetable again today (Tuesday, March 11), across the below lines:

Fully open:

  • Shorncliffe line
  • Springfield line
  • Ferny Grove line
  • Airport line
  • Redcliffe Peninsula line
  • Ipswich line
  • Sunshine Coast line

Partially open:

  • Gold Coast/Beenleigh line: Central to Kuraby

No train services in these sections:

  • Ipswich to Rosewood
  • Kuraby to Varsity Lakes
  • Park Road to Cleveland
  • Eagle Junction to Doomben

We appreciate your patience as our teams work to restore services safely.
