Queensland Rail is excited to announce the return of its iconic Gulflander train, which has resumed operations after the annual wet season break.

Known for its scenic journey 'from nowhere to nowhere', the Gulflander offers a unique and unforgettable travel experience across the stunning Gulf Savannah.

Customers can now enjoy the charm of this historic railway, which follows the route between Normanton and Croydon, traversing some of the region's most remote and picturesque landscapes.

The service will operate throughout the year, allowing both locals and visitors to rediscover the natural beauty and rich history of the Gulf Country.

Depending on how long you want to spend onboard, there are various tour options available.
