Shoe Charms Competition

​​​We’re giving away 10 pairs of Queensland Rail shoe charms. To enter, tag a friend on our Facebook or Instagram post.

 Competition Terms and Conditions:

  1. ​The promoter is Queensland Rail Limited (ABN 71 132 181 090) of ​Level 1, Rail Centre 1, 305 Edward Street, Brisbane, Queensland 4000 (the Promoter).

  2. ​​Entry to this competition signifies acceptance of the terms and conditions below.

  3. The competition commences on 29 April 2025 at 9am and closes on 5 May 2025 at 11.59pm.​​

  4. ​To enter this competition, the entrant must tag a friend on our competition post on either Queensland Rail's Facebook page or Instagram page (@QueenslandRail).

  5. ​​​Employees of, or contractors to, the promoter and any of its associated entities, or members of the immediate family of such employee or contractor, including spouse, parent, adopted or natural child or sibling (whether or not they live in the same household as the employee or contractor) are not eligible to enter.​

  6. The Promoter will only accept entries made personally by individuals. 

  7. There are 10 prizes for the competition, which are a pair of Queensland Rail shoe charms. ​

  8. Winners will be notified directly by Queensland Rail on Facebook and Instagram after 9am on 6 May 2025 and will be asked to direct message their mailing address. ​

  9. The Promoter's decision in the selection of the winners and the allocation of the prizes will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  10. The prize must be taken as offered. The prize is not transferable to another person, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or for resale. ​​

  11. Entrants:​​

    1. acknowledge that their personal information shall only be collected for the purpose of this competition and any associated use;
    2. acknowledge that the Promoter is not responsible for the quality of the shoe charms.
    3. release from, and indemnify the Promoter against, all liability, loss, cost or claim arising from your participation in this competition including the Promoter's sponsors, suppliers and contractors, including but not limited to injury and damage to person or property regardless of circumstance;
    4. release Instagram and Facebook from all actions or claims arising out of their participation in this competition; and​
    5. acknowledge that this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook.
    6. acknowledge that this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the supplier of the prize.
    7. authorise the Promoter to use and reproduce their entry and any associated images for any purpose at the discretion of the Promoter, including (but not limited to) publication on any train, website, television advertising, print advertising or any other advertising or promotional material;
    8. release from, and indemnify the Promoter against, all liability, loss, cost or claim arising from your participation in this competition including the Promoter's sponsors, suppliers and contractors, including but not limited to injury and damage to person or property regardless of circumstance.

  12. The Promoter:

    1. reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this competition at any time at its sole discretion;
    2. ​may withdraw or cancel this competition at any stage;
    3. may disqualify any entry from the competition without notice and for any reason.

  13. ​​The Promoter is bound by the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). Entrants can access their own personal information that the Promoter holds by writing to:
