The contract to build the two electric tilt trains was awarded to Walkers Limited, Maryborough, in 1994, with the Hitachi company to supply the electrical and tilting equipment. The photograph was taken near Landsborough. The Tilt Train is under electrical wiring (catenary). When the tilt train entered service in 1998 it had a colour scheme of, red and golden stripes along the side of the train as is reflected in this photograph. There are green trees in the background.
