Health and wellbeing
Travelling by rail and avoiding driving in traffic can help your health and wellbeing especially when rail is part of an active commute. We also have
bicycle and scooter lockers and compounds available at many of our stations, so you can safely leave your bicycle at your station and jump on a train.

Environment and sustainability
Queenslanders as a whole benefit from more people using rail as it helps to reduce traffic congestion, improve road safety, and has environmental and sustainability advantages. At full capacity a train can carry more than 900 people, that’s a lot less cars on the road.
