Tablelands system


The Tablelands system runs from Cairns to Forsayth over approximately 230 km. The system includes a number of unique tourist and travel train journeys including the Kuranda Scenic Railway and Savannahlander.

The Normanton to Croydon part of the system carries tourism passenger traffic on the Gulflander service. This 150 km corridor is stand alone, heritage-listed single track running from Normanton on the Gulf of Carpentaria to Croydon.
