Access Undertaking

Queensland Rail has an Access Undertaking (AU2) approved by the Queensland Competition Authority (QCA).

The access undertaking sets out the terms and conditions on which Queensland Rail provides access to its rail infrastructure including:

  • The framework for negotiations access
  • The development of access agreements
  • Pricing principles
  • The use of network capacity
  • Interface arrangements between Queensland Rail and train operators
  • Reporting requirements.
