Access Undertaking

Queensland Rail has an Access Undertaking (AU3​​​) approved by the Queensland Competition Authority (QCA).

The access undertaking sets out the terms and conditions on which Queensland Rail provides access to its rail infrastructure including:

  • The framework for negotiations access
  • The development of access agreements
  • Pricing principles
  • The use of network capacity
  • Interface arrangements between Queensland Rail and train operators
  • Reporting requirements.
